A Tribute to Local History

Our restaurant, La Palma, takes its name from the traditional shoemaker’s shop that occupied this space for nearly a century.

But before that, the premises also carried the aroma of good coffee and butter buns. What began as a bakery in 1830 eventually became one of Bilbao’s most iconic cafés: Café Suizo.

We aim to uphold this tradition and pay homage to the history of local trade.
